The most successful digital marketers and digital marketing campaigns follow these 6 simple steps to achieve success.

Digital Marketers don’t operate on vibes, we have a framework.

If you’re creating a campaign or reviewing a campaign proposal, watch out for this framework or any other similar framework.

1. Define the campaign objective: Why are you creating the campaign? A simple objective can be “to reach 1 million people in 1 month”. This is a SMART goal.

2. Select target audience: Define those you want to reach. What are their interests, challenges, goals etc?

3. Select marketing channels: If you know your marketing objective & the target audience, you then need to select the marketing channels that can help you reach your target audience. Think Google Ads, Social media, email marketing, display ads etc.

4. Create interesting content: After defining your goals & audience, the next step is to create content that will resonate with the audience. This content can be shared across social media, paid ads, email, influencers etc.

5. Consistent Visual Ad display: If you’re creating an ad to reach your target audience, then ensure the Ad visuals are consistent across the channels you want to use.

6. Review the campaign results: Finally, ensure you’re collating data to review the campaign performance.

These are simple steps to creating your first digital marketing campaign, or better said, to becoming a successful digital marketer.
